Importance of independence day and why to Cherish independence day

If today we are able to live life on our own terms and practice the values that we want then it is just because that we are an independent nation. The Independent nation means to have the amenity to control,
influence, support and decide according to the national and social traits without any external interference and disturbance.
The importance of being an independent nation can be asked from the people who are struggling for their basic rights on their own lands. Our own story of independence from long British slavery is also not long time ago story. Despite being a resourceful land, it was the time when the locals were not given due share in jobs and other resources. When Indian agricultural and mineral reserves were sold out on cheap rates to foreign countries. People were struggling against heavy taxes and poverty. There were difficult times in ordering social matters and objections were hold on religious events.
It was the long journey of sacrifices and struggles of our freedom fighters and politicians of period that we gained an independent state, Pakistan. Our challenge of freedom was dual. We had to get a separate land for Muslims of subcontinent from British and Hindu Majority of the subcontinent. Allah blessed us with foresighted leaders like Quaid e Azam, Liaquat Ali Khan and Allama Iqbal. Their rightly directed efforts gave us a piece of land where we as Muslims can live our life according to Quran and Sunnah without any disruption. Today, we make laws, practice holy events and work freely just because of the fact that we have an independent country named Pakistan.
Some people asks what is the need to cherish and celebrate an independence day. This is true that every moment of independence should be cherished and celebrated rather than of a single day. It can be done by
putting sincere and continuous efforts into the Progress of our country. Though cherishing and celebrating independence is not limited to only one day of the year, celebrating independence day with great zeal is also very important. It is important to celebrate independence day so our youth can know the value of being free. They can be passed the facts that why it is important to safeguard the country's interests from enemies. They can know the reasons for slavery and its effects on the lives of the people. Celebrating an independence day is a reminder of our duties on being a citizens of a free nation. Every independence day celebration lit the spirit of being independent freshly and enthusiastically.
On celebrating an independence day, it doesn't matter that you hoist a big flag of Pakistan on your roof or fill your balcony with a bunch of small bounty flags, you wear green and white badges, paint your faces or visit the city's main centers on noisy cars and bikes while holding flags to see the enlightened government and private buildings but important is what that you are aware that you are blessed with a land that owns you and holds you everywhere in the world. What is a feeling of being free can be noticed on the occasions when Pakistan win international sport events, when we see Pakistani flags hoisting on foreign lands. The energy and proudness we feel is a true vision of being a free nation.
Being independent is not a luxury but it's a responsibility to defend the country's interests, its borders, and its ideology from evil eyes. Being independent calls us to doing continuous efforts to keep the country unite, and work to make it a prosperous and better way to live.
So celebrating, cherishing, and decorating an independence day with great passion boosts your devotion, loyalty, and love for your country in a new and energetic way.
Freedom does not come easily. We are all indebted to our forefathers who struggled for freedom and sacrifices of our national heroes have made this country acquire a stature of an independent and developing country. As patriotic citizens, let's put extra effort into performing our civic responsibilities. It is only by working together that we can build a resilient and thriving nation. We must have faith in Allah and stick to the guidance of Unity, Faith and Discipline given to us by Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. Long live Pakistan! Happy Independence Day.
