1) Use the gadgets with permission of your parents.

2) Keep the screen time limited. You also to be physically active and play

outdoors.

3) Do not interact with strangers on the social media, nor share personal

information with others. Keep your parents informed on whom you are

communicating online.

4) Inform your parents / elders if someone tries to harass you online.

5) Do not open the apps / websites that your parents don’t want you to.

6) Switch off your gadgets at least one hour before going to bed.

DOS AND DON’TS FOR 7 – 12 YEAR OLDS

Good manners show respect for yourself and others!

Dos

1. Say please and thank you: Use these magic words when asking for or receiving something.

2. Use good table manners: Keep your hands clean, don't talk with your mouth full, and chew

with your mouth closed.

3. Respect personal space: Don't stand too close to others or touch their belongings without

permission.

4. Listen actively: Pay attention when others speak and show you're interested in what they

say.

5. Use polite language: Say "yes ma'am" or "yes sir" instead of "yeah" or "yup".

6. Be considerate of others' feelings: Think about how your words and actions might affect

someone else.

7. Use good hygiene habits: Wash your hands frequently, cover your mouth when you cough,

and brush your teeth regularly.

8. Respect authority figures: Show respect to teachers, parents, and other adults in charge.

Don’ts

1. Don't interrupt others: Wait for your turn to speak and avoid cutting in on conversations.

2. Don't use bad language or slang: Avoid using inappropriate words or phrases that might

offend others.

3. Don't make fun of others: Treat others with kindness and respect, even if they're

different.

4. Don't burp or make other rude noises: Excuse yourself if you need to burp or make other

bodily noises.

5. Don't leave a mess for others to clean up: Clean up after yourself, whether it's at home

or in a public place.

6. Don't be mean or sarcastic: Treat others with kindness and respect, even if you're joking

around.

7. Don't ignore someone who's speaking to you: Give people your attention and respond

when they talk to you.

8. Don't use your phone at the table. Put your phone away during meals.
