Dos
1. Say please and thank you: Use
these magic words when asking for or receiving something.
2. Use good table manners: Keep your
hands clean, don't talk with your mouth full, and chew
with your mouth closed.
3. Respect personal space: Don't
stand too close to others or touch their belongings without
permission.
4. Listen actively: Pay attention
when others speak and show you're interested in what they
say.
5. Use polite language: Say
"yes ma'am" or "yes sir" instead of "yeah" or
"yup".
6. Be considerate of others'
feelings: Think about how your words and actions might affect
someone else.
7. Use good hygiene habits: Wash
your hands frequently, cover your mouth when you cough,
and brush your teeth regularly.
8. Respect authority figures: Show
respect to teachers, parents, and other adults in charge.
Don’ts
1. Don't interrupt others: Wait for
your turn to speak and avoid cutting in on conversations.
2. Don't use bad language or slang:
Avoid using inappropriate words or phrases that might
offend others.
3. Don't make fun of others: Treat

bodily noises.

clean up: Clean up after yourself, whether it's at home
or in a public place.

others with kindness and respect, even if you're joking
around.
7. Don't ignore someone who's
speaking to you: Give people your attention and respond
when they talk to you.
8. Don't use your phone at the
table. Put your phone away during meals.
