  موسم کا شہزادہ ایک دلفریب ہوا نے پورے باغ کو اپنی لپیٹ میں لے لیا اور پرندے خوشی سے چہچہانے لگے۔ ہر ٗطرف رونق چھا گٸ۔ چاروں طرف پرندوں کی صدا سناٸ دے رہی تھی۔ یہ تبدیلی سدا سے قدرت کا نظام تھی  ۔سوکھے میدان میں سبزہ بچھنے لگا۔ پھولوں کی کلیاں چٹخنے لگیں۔ درختوں نے بھی نۓ پتوں کا لباس پہن لیا ۔ یہ سب تیاری عام نہیں تھی۔ یہ تو موسم کے شہزادے کے استقبال کے لۓ ہورہی تھی جو ہر سال موسم بہار کے شروع ہوتے ہی باغ کی سیر کو آتا تھا۔اس باغ میں آم کے اور دوسرے پھلوں کے بکثرت درخت تھے جو شہزادے کے آتے ہی پھولوں سے بھر جاتے تھے۔  موسم کا شہزادہ بہت بہادر اور عقل مند تھا۔ اسے سات براعظموں میں گھومنا اور دنیا کے بارے میں جاننا بہت پسند تھا لیکن اسے اس باغ سے خاص لگاٶ تھا۔ اس لۓ وہ موسم بہار یہیں گزارتا تھا۔  یہی اس کا  پسندیدہ موسم بھی تھا۔ شہزادہ صبح کے وقت باغ کے بڑے دروازے پرپہنچ گیا تھا۔ افق پر ابھرتے سورج نے اسے سلامی دی تھی۔ شہزادہ ایک سرد ملک سے طویل سفر کرکے یہاں پہنچا تھا۔ اب وہ پھولوں کے بستر پر آرام کرنا چاہتا تھا لیکن اسے کچھ عجیب محسوس ہورہا تھا۔ اس کا دم گھٹ ر...

 عید الفطر کا چاند غائب کردو   'کسی کو سمجھ نہیں آرہی تھی کہ یہ کیا ہو رہا تھا- رمضان کا آخری ہفتہ شروع ہوتے ہی کوئ شخص عید الفطر چھوٹی عید کی تیاریوں کو برباد کرنے کی کوشش کر رہا تھا- پہلے تو اچانک پورے ملک کے بینک کسی نے ہیک کر لۓ تاکہ لوگوں کو عید سے پہلے تنخواہ نہ مل پاۓ اور وہ عید کی خریداری نہ کر پایئں- حکومت نے مشکل سے اس مسئلے پر کچھ قابو پایا توعید سے ایک روز پہلے پورے ملک کے پٹرول پمپ کا نظام ہی بیٹھ گیا- عید کرنے دوسرے شہروں کو جانے والے لوگ راستے میں ہی پھنس گۓ- عید کے لۓ فراہم ہونے والا سامان بازاروں تک نہ پہنچ سکا- بازاروں میں گوشت، سبزی اور مصالحہ جات کی قلت ہوگئ- سب لوگ بہت پریشان تھے-وانیہ اور آمنہ بھی مشکل سے عید سے ایک دن پہلے اپنی دادا جان کے گھر پہنچ پائیں تھیں- وہاں بھی سب ہی اس صورتحال سے پریشان تھے- 'ہم کل راستے میں تھے تو اچانک پورے ملک کے پٹرول پمپ کا نظام بیٹھ گیا- ہم لوگوں نے افطار بھی راستے میں کیا- آمنہ نے بھی بہت زیادہ تنگ کیا- وہ بہت تھک گئ تھی- وہ تو شکر ہے کہ عید کا چاند نظر نہیں آیا ورنہ تو ہم وقت پر پہنچ بھی نہ پاتے،' وانیہ نے اپنی ک...
